Tyler Taylor is a freelance audio engineer and sound designer based in the Chicago metropolitan area. From alto sax in middle school to electric guitar in garage bands, he pursued multiple avenues of aural art before finding his niche in engineering and music production. Pulling influences from a variety of genres, Tyler is an active record producer and lyricist specializing in hip-hop, working directly with the artists themselves. He recently had the privilege to intern for Grammy nominated engineer Chris Steinmetz at Stonecutter Studios, functioning as an assitant engineer. Tyler also interned at the Chicago post production house Static Studios, where he expanded his knowledge of sound design. In December 2014, Tyler obtained a Bachelor of Science in audio production at the Art Institute of Schaumburg.
